While some diners experienced issues with reservations and slow service, others praised the food quality and friendly staff. The menu includes classic Italian dishes, and the atmosphere is cozy and elegant. Wheelchair accessibility is a plus, and the parking is convenient. Overall, diners may experience varying levels of service and food quality, but Johnny's remains a popular choice for those looking for a nice dining experience in Peoria.
We had a five-star dining experience in Johnny's Friday night. Patrick took care of us and he did an excellent job. He went beyond and beyond to make us happy! The food was great. We started with a spinach artichoke dip. I got the steak and risotto and my husband got the shrimps Tortellini. We were both happy with our selection. I like the ambience. It's lit, but not so dark that you can't see your food. Will definitely come back!
A little expensive, but worth it! Emma was super nice and very understanding for my wife's allergies. The food was absolutely delicious, but little waiting time. Wellington wasn't as good as Gordan Ramseys haha, but still tasted amazing!
The food was delicious, but slow. Fortunately, we enjoyed the company we were with. Our server Emma was excellent! So personal and knowledgeable. My only edition was with my drinks. Had 2 old fashions that had far too much easier syrup in them. Apart from that, everything was amazing. Will return.
Unbelievable wait for food. Service was terrible. Waited for ever for refills on drinks. Appetizers served cold. Forgot our bread. On top of the restaurant not being very busy. Will be a long time before I go back if ever. Not at all what was expected for the price. If you choose to eat here hopefully your experience is better. This is the first time this has happened to me at this particular restaurant to be fair in the 20+ times I've eaten there. Wheelchair accessibility: Nice entrance for wheelchairs and plenty of room to move around.
Never disappointed when I eat here. Be sure to ask for the olive oil and parmesan for your bread.
