Yuk Ping Kitchen - East Orange

The customer service was surprisingly good, but the price of $40 for inedible and unappetizing food is way too high.

The food at this restaurant is usually good, but last night was an exception. I ordered shrimp and broccoli, but when I got home, I discovered that the shrimp was bad as they had a strong ammonia smell. Being pregnant, my sense of smell is heightened, so I couldn't even eat it. I ended up throwing away what was on my plate, although I should have kept it to show the restaurant. When I returned to get something else, the staff seemed skeptical, but I assured them I would never try to scam them. The smell of the leftover shrimp in the container confirmed my complaint. This experience has led me to not return to this restaurant, as I will stick to my other Chinese store.

The food is fresh, love their vegetable fried rice, ribs with bone and sweet and sour chicken.

Took my order made me wait two hours , stopped answering the phone and never delivered my food, ???

I ordered shrimp broccoli with white rice and BBQ chicken with yellow rice, and it was surprisingly good. It was much better than other Chinese restaurants I have ordered from in this area. The delivery was quick, they said it would take 30-40 minutes but it arrived in less than 20 minutes. No complaints here!
