Great service, very friendly staff , food is extremely tasty however I miss the self service of a real buffet. I highly recommend if you’re carrying out but self service buffet I wouldn’t , what happens if it’s busy and there’s only one cashier who’s doing everything cashing, serving, etc ?

I went and did the buffet option. It was a little weird because the person at the counter gets a plate and you have to point and pick what you want. Then you go over to a table and eat. If you want more you have get back in line with other customers who might be getting takeout and sometimes it could be a little wait time. Most of the food was good but stay away from the spring roll and lo mein those were the worse. The female server is very friendly, the guy not as much. But overall a good place to stop and grab lunch or dinner.

I’m having a ball here at Jersey gourmet in East Orange 560 Main St. the food is delicious. The service is a plus please check it out. You won’t regret it tell your friends they’re the best kept secret in East Orange.
