The White Swan - East Northamptonshire

This was my first time dining at this restaurant and I must say the food was absolutely beautiful. The service was excellent and I highly recommend it. I will definitely be returning again in the future.

Here for the first time at lunchtime yesterday following a service of thanksgiving for one of my former teachers. An amazing spread of excellent food, hot and cold, for probably over 100 guests; none of the friendly and professional staff seemed at all overwhelmed by the occasion, drinks refilled promptly and generously. This is a class act and fully deserves its award of East of England pub of the year 2023. We will be back.

Really tasty food with generous portions. Extensive cocktail list. Huge menu.. almost too big as it was hard to chose just one thing! We will definitely be back.

We made a last-minute reservation for Sunday lunch with our small dog. It was a pleasant surprise to find a pub restaurant that allowed pets inside. The roast beef Sunday lunch we ordered was delightful – the beef was tender and cooked perfectly, and the vegetables were plentiful and well-seasoned. The waiting staff were also friendly and attentive. If you're in the area, we highly recommend dining at the White Swan! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I cannot speak highly enough of this place. Despite a stressful start and almost leaving because of our misbehaving dog, a staff member called to check if we were still coming. I mentioned we were in the parking lot and asked if they offered takeout. She quickly brought out a menu, reassured us we could sit in a corner to avoid any distractions for our dog, and things only improved from there. The drinks were superb, and the food even better. The steak was cooked perfectly (or not cooked at all, as I like it blue!), and was truly the best I've had in a long time. My friend devoured her scampi dish. My children enjoyed their meals as well, with one having the burger and the other fish fingers. We were thoroughly impressed with everything, especially the outstanding, friendly, and helpful staff.
