Star Garter - East Northamptonshire

We were indecision where to go. we have landed here. then we couldn't decide what to eat. at the end we went to the advice of an concerned fan for the joint start and fish shop plate to come at the same time so that we could share. Now, eating was enough to feed a little poor, but I'm never one to turn away a challenge! eating was amazing, so even if they are not complete, they still choose. chef, they're amazing. presents beautifully tasty. can't wait to come back. (because this food stuff is worn out). great service. they will not be disappointed!

Visited for Steak night with family who were visiting for the weekend. We had fillet with beetroot prawns or plain Tempura Prawns and the steaks were cooked to perfection as each was cooked slightly different to individual taste. Couldn’t fault anything , really good quality...food and service and would recommend a visit.

Had dinner tonight at the star and garter. I normally hate my steak cooked by anyone else but I must say it was a beautiful cut, perfectly cooked and presented. 5*

Fantastic service with a smile in this pub tonight. The staff could not do enough to help, the food was excellent pub grub but we would return for the welcome alone. This is so often missing in the Uk these days and it was so...pleasing to see staff taking so much pride in their work and caring about the experience of the customer. Thank you.

It's udderly brilliant! This was a return visit. Another great selection of cuts of beef and sides to choose from. Our Côte de boeuf was cooked to perfection. Great service, great atmosphere, great value. We'll be back!
