Paid a visit to use the driving range which isn't to bad some of the bays showing some wear and tear. Have to load up a card in the cafe where you can get takeaway hot and cold drinks. They also have a comprehensive breakfast menu which you can eat in their cafe area not big but sufficient, they also have a brunch menu with baked pots. Didn't have anything to eat but looked quite reasonable. View all feedback.
What MidlandsRocker doesn't like about Nellys Kitchen:
Called in for lunch. Had to send our jacket potatoes back as not cooked. Coronation chicken filling dreadfully cold from fridge and pretty tasteless. 3 ladies doing nothing much. One knowing zero about hygiene and blue gloves; obviously thinks they are to keep her hands clean as she was wiping down surfaces with an old cloth and then serving food. No ambiance, no smiles, comfort levels low, not made welcome, won't be... View all feedback.
Great breakfast very friendly staff nice and clean inside don't mind dogs if you sit outside. Nice to sit and watch people practicing there golf swing. Been here a few times and always food has been piping hot mid range prices but does include tea or coffee so not to bad will be going back again definitely
Due to location I sometimes stop here when walking the dog through the fields. Friendly staff and convenient location, I probably wouldn't go out of my way for the food, but it not bad. In the summer months they put on a sandpit for kids.
Went for coffee and snacks, whilst watching people driving off on the driving range. Good selection of snacks and at reasonable prices, lovely and friendly and clean. Nice to sit on the veranda as well. Recommended to take coffee and relax.
Decided when passing to stop off for some refreshment with the wife. As time was past lunch we decided to have tea/coffee and scone. Ladies were very helpful and told us to take a seat whilst drinks were being made. When delivered nice hot cup of tea with a warm scone all very pleasant. The food menu looked very comprehensive from breakfast, rolls to cooked lunch. Very much worth a visit and by the way it is next to the driving range so if take clubs could have a bucket of balls (90 for £5) before or after refreshment.
I came here to eat with a few of my work colleagues. The ladies who welcomed us were all lovely and the amount of food you get is perfect for a bite for lunch. (I have also heard they do great afternoon tea)
