Great reviews! I’m going to visit but I’m a little worried about the missing 1 star reviews. Makes me a little nervous. ?

Food is delicious! Not just saying it cause my father in law is one of the cooks?

The best fried fish and the best most friendly service.

This restaurant is now called Goldie's. However, I found that the prices on the menu were not accurate. The menu states that dinners come with a choice of potato, fresh vegetable, soup or salad, and a roll. I ordered a baked potato with butter, but what I received was a previously baked potato that had just been reheated, and I had to ask for butter again. I also had to request the roll. I opted for a salad instead of soup, but I believe salads should be fresh and free of wilted or spoiled greens. Unfortunately, both my husband's and my salads had rotten greens that seemed to be either stored in too cold of a place or were simply outdated. The fresh vegetable option was coleslaw, which also could have been fresher and had less dressing. On a positive note, the restaurant was clean and the service was friendly and attentive. They do charge an extra fee for credit card payments. I might consider giving them another chance in the future, but not anytime soon.

This is a wonderful spot for comfort food! I've tried the cabbage rolls, chicken a la king, fish and chips, and homemade soups, and I highly recommend them all. The servers are friendly and quick too!
