The 3-course men... read more Located in Dirleton, this restaurant has a nice atmosphere with friendly staff. The menu is varied and the Sunday lunch options are sufficient. The 3-course menu is reasonably priced. I dined in Deveau's conservatory, which had a nice and light decor. The mussel stew starter and haggis wellington were delicious. The slow-cooked lamb with berry sauce was very tasty, as was the breast of chicken stuffed with haggis wrapped in bacon with whiskey sauce. Don't miss out on trying the sticky toffee or caramelised fruit meringue for dessert. Overall, the food was excellent and the service was friendly.

We had reserved a table for lunch with the family on a Sunday at Open Arms and were allocated a table in the Library. Whether it was the Sirloin Steak or the served lamb, all the dishes were delicious. For dessert, there was an excellent Sticky Toffee Pudding. The service was really good and fast, and we were pleased to have made the right choice with the restaurant. If you can plan your visit in advance, it is advisable to make a reservation, especially on weekends.
