As soon as you step through the door, the aroma of the fire welcomes you. The beautiful wooden floors and the friendly staff create a cozy and warm atmosphere. The food is fresh and delicious. We really missed you during the lockdown! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Country Bumpkin:
Meals and service were good. They were out of stock of two pizza toppings early in the evening though (olives and fillet) which was very disappointing as it affected the choice of 3 people in our party of 4. Found it strange (particularly the olives) as they could have gone down to the local supermarket but didn't seem to bother. View all feedback.
Children love it. eating is great. coffee is amazing. service could be better, but its most often because it can be quite busy on the afternoons, but sitting outside in the garden is such a tasty bite, its worth the little extra warte.
Food always good! You must try the pink gin and tonic on tap. Unfortunately only one glass available, but it was good.
Nice quiet and family friendly place. Atmosphere is fantastic. Food selection is great. Its a pizza drive restaurant. Quantities may seem small, but are extremely filling. My recommendation of pizza for this place The Butcher All in all great place. Definitely recommend to anyone
Country Bumpkin offers a unique experience in East London, where families can have an enjoyable outing, whilst their kids can play in a lovely garden. This alone makes it worth one's while to go there on a balmy day or summer night. The food is enjoyable and there are a nice variety of dishes on the menu. The service, however, is not always up to standard. One is often bound to wait for food, or being confronted with wrong orders. That being said, it is overall a good experience.
