What Gillycoe1 likes about The Queens Head:
This charming pub is a must-visit. We stopped by on a Saturday evening and also for lunch during our stay nearby. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and always served with a smile. The bar staff were incredibly friendly, especially one gentleman we struck up a conversation with. The gardens were stunning, with a beer garden and a separate area for glamping that looked absolutely fantastic with beautiful tents... View all feedback. What Gort117 doesn't like about The Queens Head:
I visited the restaurant for their curry night. The Thai curry was not as spicy as advertised and lacked flavor, with a strange texture. The Tikka curry did not taste like a traditional Tikka curry at all. It seems like the chef doesn't know how to cook authentic curries. View all feedback.

Fabulous pizza. Good choice of drinks at reasonable prices. Only dog friendly in the garden which would limit our visits to sunny days.

Good wholesome food at a reasonable price. Friendly helpful staff.

The Queen's Head has received mixed reviews recently, with some customers feeling let down by the decline in quality and service they experienced. However, there are positive reviews praising the tasty food, warm atmosphere, and excellent service. Highlights include the delicious slow-roasted lamb, chicken and ham pie, and the amazing creme brulee. The cozy and friendly vibe of the pub is noted, making it a great spot for a meal or drinks with friends. While there have been some negative experiences, it seems that loyal customers and new visitors alike can find something to enjoy at the Queen's Head.
