What Kath S likes about Salts Fish And Chip Shop:
The freshly cooked fish and chips at this restaurant were delicious. The mushy peas and curry sauce were also very tasty. The fish cake that our dog had was divine. View all feedback. What tedosborn doesn't like about Salts Fish And Chip Shop:
Small tasteless soggy battered fish, must have cut with a razor blade it was that thin, still with skin on, which we both dislike. Chips were as bad, bland also soggy, and under cooked. This used to be a great chippy, defiantly not now, avoid View all feedback.

While some diners lament thin, soggy fish and undercooked chips, others rave about the crispy, freshly prepared offerings, declaring the fish and chips among the best they've had. Many appreciate the attentive staff, cleanliness, and the delightful mushy peas and curry sauce that complement their meals. Even on busy days, the quality has been praised, with repeat visitors cherishing the ample portions and inviting atmosphere. Despite a rocky past, this establishment remains a promising spot for lovers of traditional fish and chips.
