my partner and I were tempted by the performer. the drinks were quite expensive and the staff was friendly. the exterior was quite illuminated, with müll on the tables and the floor. that was not a problem as it might have blown in...as always the male toilets were dirty. I have attached a photo to show that I am not exaggerated, they looked like they have not been cleaned for a while. that is not a bad pub, and I would call again for a drink if there were proper cleaning.
Plates cold, veg cold. the chicken and mushroom cake was ok and the stuffed yorkshire was ok. had to ask for chips and teapots because they had forgotten them. could run with a deep cleanliness and stop the personal child running over the. place after reading other reviews will not go again. mcdonald’s may be cheerful, but it is definitiw better and clean.
I went to lunch the first I asked for sirloin steak and then send me another meeting second I think was cooked in the microwave my partner asked for carbonara both dishes that we were sent back was absolutely terrible I never come back, also free
I wouldn't go in this pub after a little girl saw climbing on the furniture while we see her drink and cabaret.
We were visiting Skegness for the day and stopped here for a carvery. As we lined up for food someone had to shout for the chef to come which took a couple of minutes. While waiting it was hard to ignore the amount of flies...hanging around the covered food. The chef finally appeared and uncovered the food. The meat looked well done and when I opted for pork, he couldn't even cut through the skin. He even said that the meat was overcooked so I changed my mind to Turkey. This turned out to be so dry it was inedible. While getting our food we were still having to contend with the flies which the chef was batting away from the carvery, the electric fly trap obviously not doing its job. We all attempted to eat some of the meal but soon gave up as the veg were tasteless too. We did complain and get our money back but I would recommend avoiding it like the plague.
