What Ru345by doesn't like about Admiral Benbow:
Our family called by on our very first visit to CSL and the Admiral Benbow was our first stop off the beach for refreshments. We asked for some hot drinking chocolates for the children that was served ,but upon asking about ice cream ,we were informed that he was busy …where upon we didn’t get to finish our ordering of tea and further refreshments,as we felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome. And wouldn’t go back agai... View all feedback.
A rebuilt toilet block of all things! a beach bar. quite quirky inside. good choice of drinks, both hot and cold. the outside seat area is located on the beach itself in a reproduced hull of a ship. friendly, helpful staff. there are steps, so the pub itself and loo are not wheelchair accessible. the seat area in the boot is however.
A great experience. it was very cold when we walked the dog along the seafront, so we decided to retreat into the warmth of the pubs on the beach. it appeared to all other dog walkers from lincolnshire the same idea, dogs accompanied all. with dogs that were common interest, there were many talks around the pub, dogs treat themselves around and all very pleasant. the staff was also friendly and had not to be at the top. card payments were not possible during our visit, so make sure to bring cash (but probably not ruble).
This place is a very cozy beach bar in the Kapelle st leonard. beautiful walk along the beach stop. sitting outside. unsafe over the menu, but in any case has a Doggy menu. dog-friendly. look at the sea on the walk map we know that it is so far on the deck. friendly staff.
Great pub! great selection at all drinks, but above all gin there had a separate menu! There is an outdoor drink area that is shaped like a boat, very nice to sit outside in the sun and have a drink. the pub is 50 steps to the beautiful sandy beach with sand dunes. the pub does not make food, but has snacks and cakes. the pub is very dog-friendly and there is a menu for hungry pooches. also the dogs are allowed to sit on them as long as they help themselves a carpet from the dog basket. the inner of the pub has a jaunted naval theme and it was a great night. if they visit the opposite. highly recommended.
Eccentric, fun and well run. Pimm's in the sun, what's not to like? Be warned, CASH ONLY.
