Maru Sushi Grill - East Lansing

I would not recommend this restaurant. This is the third time I have tried it and each time I have been disappointed. The menu description sounded promising, but the execution fell short. The tempura batter was too thick and overly crispy. My sushi roll was poorly constructed, with all the ingredients clumped together in the middle. I personally do not enjoy the taste of steamed avocado. The service was also slow, taking three times longer than expected to receive my food. Overall, I feel regretful for spending $32 on two unappetizing appetizers. I will not be returning and suggest trying a different restaurant.

Edie and Firma prepared a delicious meal for our kids during their visit. We believe our children only come to see us for their favorite dishes, but we're happy to oblige.

The dining experience at this restaurant was fantastic! Ria provided excellent service as our server. The desserts were also incredibly delicious.

So boring now....menu is nothing exciting (it was much bigger and more exciting in the past) his now terrible boring and generic, personal is pompous (always were) and management OMG....and the owners they do not want them to be all their opinions. I have made several complaints in the course of the years, but their clear that they fail. okemos is closed and assumes that we will watch this chain. don't waste your time.

Great! Delicious! Staff went above and beyond to make us feel cared for, the girl with the green hair, I didn't catch her name, was simply amazing.
