Cavros is hands down the best pizza the 06118 side of East Hartford! We order their pizza about 2x a month. Kruste is beautiful and crispy, the sauce is delicious, not salty and they are generous with their blows. Just order and pour my mouth! We get the party size, so we have pizza for days... We enjoyed the food and service in Cavros Pizzeria very much. We will recommend it to all our friends looking for great pizza restaurant without reservation.
I'm really picky. I ordered 2 seats to compare. Here and Procaccinis. Pizza ordered by Cavros: Veggie Supreme. Broccoli, onion, pepper, mushroom, tomatoes, black olives, eggplants, spinach, red sauce and mozzarella. Pan crust. Size: big 16 cost: $19.75 tax waiting period: 25 minutes pizza ordered by Procaccini's: Veggie Pizza #1. Aubergines, paprika, onions, mushrooms, black olives, fresh tomatoes, red sauce, with seasoned cheese mix and embroidered with burned mozzarella cheese. Pan crust. Size: big 16 cost: $24.75 tax waiting time: 30 minutes The main differences between the 2 pizzas were the price and the gates. Cavros uses all fresh toppings, with the exception of some (Eggplant was crushed and baked similar to eggplant parmesan, black olives always come in a can I know spinach and broccoli were probably slightly damped, but still had a light green color. Even less sauce than procaccini and apparently less cheese. Both pizzas were loaded with toppings. And Cavros Pizza in sight just looked good! Taste: I liked both pizzas very much! Both were really good! Procaccinis Pizza definitely had a little more sauce than Cavros pizza, but the cheese tasted like the same amount. The toppings were a little different, definitely tasted the eggplants in the Cavros pizza, but not so much in the pizza of Procaccini. The pizza of Procaccini had precooked many paprika and olives and the paprika. Cavros crust is a bit thicker than Procaccinis and somehow reminded me of some pizza hut crust. Overall, I would say that they are both really good pizzas, but preference is what makes one better than the other. Cavros is also cheaper and uses fresh (non-conserved ingredients). My preference would be Cavros, fresh mushrooms are always a victory for me! (Pizza with light green, by Cavros Pizzeria. Other photo, Pizza by Procaccini.
