Sunny Kitchen - East Hanover

This was my first visit to this restaurant. With a promising 4.6 rating on Google, I had high hopes, but I ended up feeling disappointed. The location is quite inconvenient. The General Tso's Chicken deserves a solid 4.75/5. It's not entirely fair to judge it based on takeout quality, as food often gets soggy, but I have to rate it as it is. The chicken was semi-crispy, the sauce was just right, and the portions were huge. Typically, I can finish an entire container by myself, but this time I could only manage half. Next, I tried the Beef with Garlic Sauce, which also rates at 4.75/5. The portion size was generous, and the flavor was quite good. Unfortunately, I can't rate the Curry Chicken with Onions at all. There was a mix-up with my order, and I received Chicken with Garlic Sauce instead. My wife was really hungry, and it was too far to go back to rectify it. The Chicken with Garlic Sauce gets a solid 4.5, but it felt like it was lacking something in the flavor profile. As for the Lo Mein, I would give it a 4.0/5. While the flavor was good (around 4.5), there was a strange aftertaste that detracted from the overall experience.

This chinese restaraunt is a great place to order from. Its family owned and they are so nice. They may be dry on the phone but thats because they need to answer constant calls because of how busy they are. Their food is immaculate

The restaurant is very clean, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is outstanding!

Ordering here for some time. Food is pretty good, staff are decent, sometimes they seem a little grouchy. The real problem is, the prices have been climbing too high over the last year or so. I understand inflation as everything has gone up but our typical order, which was normally around $30 less than a year ago is now over $50 for the same exact order? Not good. Perhaps it's time to try another place for Chinese food.

The food is excellent, with minimal breading. The sushi is fresh and prepared to order!
