I love this place! I live just up the road and shop here regularly. I wouldn't come here to buy the basics as it is a bit pricey, but the quality of food is excellent and the staff are very friendly and always helpful. I love their mozzarella, fresh squeezed orange juice the hot deli lunches. View all feedback.
What J F doesn't like about Red Horse Market:
Very inconvenient layout especially if you want to approach the deli or salad counter, with people cutting in and out in front of you, it is hard to see what is available. Most of the merchandise can easily be sourced from neighboring gourmet hounds, but here with some unworthy mark-up. Dessert and salad are ordinary at best. Check-out counter is slow and snaking. Overall, it is not worth the hustling with yoga-pants... View all feedback.
I absolutely adore this place! I live nearby and visit frequently. While I wouldn't come here for everyday essentials since it can be a bit expensive, the quality of the food is outstanding. The staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to help. I especially love their mozzarella, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and the hot deli lunches.
This place is truly a hidden gem. I've lived almost right next door for nearly six months and only stumbled upon it a few weeks ago. Since then, I've already visited at least three times! It's like a neighborhood market with an elevated vibe. So far, I've tried their pizza, eggplant parmesan, and cheese ravioli. The eggplant parmesan was outstanding, but I would personally skip the ravioli next time.
The layout of the restaurant is quite inconvenient, especially when trying to access the deli or salad counter. With people constantly moving in and out, it's difficult to see what's available. Most of the products can be easily found at nearby gourmet shops, but here they come with an unnecessary markup. The desserts and salads are mediocre at best. Additionally, the checkout process is slow and cumbersome. Overall, it’s not worth navigating through the yoga-pants crowd for something that is of lower quality than what you would find at one of the Roundswamp Farm stores.
This is a wonderful restaurant! They offer top-notch products and maintain high quality. Everything is well-organized and clean, and the service is always friendly!
They do not allow anyone inside without a mask, and the staff are quite rude about it. Whether or not I choose to wear a mask is my decision, based on CDC guidelines. You're not my parents, and if the U.S. government says I don't have to wear one, then neither should you. While you have the right to require customers to wear a mask, claiming that it aligns with CDC guidelines is misleading. It seems like you're just one of those who are afraid. Own up to it.
