I used to go here often but not been since covid. It used to be smart and have a good menu in a real, friendly ‘country pub’ atmosphere. Now it feels run down and unwelcoming. People were chasing the menu and, in our case, chasing... View all feedback. What User likes about The Greyfriar:
This place is definitely worth a visit! We decided to stop in after visiting the Jane Austen house, even though I was hesitant since we had just eaten at a restaurant right across from a tourist attraction. But there was no need to worry, the food and service here were top-notch! I really enjoyed the sausages and mash I ordered, and my five-year-old loved his fish and chips. View all feedback.
