Visited the wonderland theme with my daughter, granddaughter and partner. Was a brilliant experience and lots of photo opportunities to make it memorable. Great value family ticket and would visit again. There was a good choice of food in the cafe which was reasonably priced too. View all feedback.
What nnmercman doesn't like about Keydell Nurseries:
Not visited here before and should have realised by the queue of traffic waiting to get in that it was going to be manic (main attraction was the winter forest/santa experience). Took an age to find a parking space and then it was just one big push and shove to get around inside the garden centre. There was a massive queue for the santa experience and although prices reasonable at £3.50 for children’s/£2.50 for adult... View all feedback.
I took my child to the enchanted walk today as we have previously really enjoyed the Christmas walks. The cost was £4.95 per person (just under £10 for the two of us), On entering the walk we were met with a smell of chemicals and a damp, musty odour. The displays were nice and we enjoyed looking at them but I did expect there to be more of them. It took us around 5 minutes to walk our way from start to finish and unfortunately the smell continued the whole way. I was quite disappointed with this walk as I had expected it to have the same magic and excitement as the Christmas walk. It almost felt as if it was being used as storage. I appreciate that tickets cover overheads of lighting etc, however I felt the experience did not match the amount charged.
After recently going through a stillbirth, I have been gardening a lot this summer as way of making myself feel better. My trips have all been fine until today when I was served at the till by a very rude member of staff. I approached the till with my items in the cart and you have to tell the assistant what you have. She asked how many pots I had and I thought she was referring to my pots of flowers to which I replied 4. Then she pointed to my empty plant pots and asked how many there were of those and I said 3, to which she aggressively said Right, I JUST asked you how many there were and you said there 4. I said, I thought you meant the pots of flowers. It was a simple miscommunication, and the woman didn 't need to be so nasty to me. After everything I 've been through, I don 't need to be spoken to so rudely when I get out of the house and try to get on with my life as best I can. I 've spent hundreds of pounds there this summer and after being made to feel so uncomfortable, I don 't think I 'll be back. There are other garden centres where staff members don 't go out of their way to make you feel so uncomfortable.
A very poorly cooked breakfast, sasages only just about cooked very little colour on them and hard, bacon over cook on one side not cooked on other, egg under cooked some white still runny, hashbrowns over cooked and very oilly, mushroom been cooked and then sat in water nice taste but texture horried, beans cold black pudding under cooked no crut on it. All service on too smaller plate for a large breakfast.
Unfortunately I have recently had two separate visits where two different members of staff have been really rude. Very poor customer service. This is my local garden centre and I have been a loyal customer over the years but am now considering going elsewhere.
