Gurkha Durbar - East Hampshire

Perfect Food was delicious, brilliant selection for all taste buds from chicken to salmon, monkfish, prawn, lamb, mixed. From mild to very hot. Fast service, nicely presented with friendly, lovely polite staff. Tonight was quiet, which we prefer, being able to talk and hear each other speak. The booking was made for tonight, Sunday for a table for 5. We had starters, mains, sides, dessert, alcoholic drinks, soft drink and 2 Irish coffees to end the evening. We are new to the area, this is the second time we have been to this Nepalese restaurant and the only one we have visited since before the Pandemic. This will be our regular haunt for a 'treat ' or special occasion from now on. First visit was a Saturday evening, very busy, two large parties. extremely popular place to eat locally yet still the good service and quality food was evident.

Kind hearted friendly staff, with a welcome that makes you feel like family. Menu is wide but they are still happy to make changes for people with eating requests.

We had a wonderful experience with Gurkha Durbar, who provided us with a delicious curry lunch for 25 guests at my grandson's 21st birthday party at our home. The food arrived on time, they provided us with catering dishes to keep the food warm, and were extremely helpful throughout. The quality of the food was outstanding and the portion sizes were generous. We will definitely be using their services again and highly recommend them.

Tremendous food, tasty and grease free. Popular and more specialised dishes were all amazingly tasty. Sizzling lamb, chicken with chickpeas and crispy naan were all highlights. The staff were charming and efficient.

We had a meal here today with a group of 15 for a family birthday. The Nepalese food here is always great, and we were not at all let down today. Restaurant is lovely and clean and despite the large group our meals were all served together at the same time. It has to be said that the service here is really friendly. They did all they could to make sure it was a meal to remember. Thank you.
