What NicandSaladventures doesn't like about Mexicali Mama:
I was really looking forward to some good Mexican food. Unfortunately we had to wait for over an hour for our food and the drink service was very slow. When the food eventually arrived it was mediocre. View all feedback.
Super tasty dinner, we both had the enchiladas (beef seafood). Great cocktails (margarita mojito) and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommend
Went with a group and we were asked to book 15 minutes later than our first requested time. This made perfect sense, as arriving when other groups are arriving does delay service. We were welcomed and took our time to order which staff understood. Food came in generous serves, ribs were a highlight (more Tex than Mex). Staff were obliging in offering a mocktail with half soda water and it was minty goodness! The baked potatoes were enormous!
Actually bought takeout, food was wonderful, when I spoke to the restaurant staff about the order they were very helpful, I’m definitely going again
We hadn't been to Mexicali Mama previously and decided to try it to compare with other local mexican style food outlets and we were pleased that we did. The menu was great and the food itself was tasty and quite enjoyable. We will go back there again !!
Ate there with a group of 17, busy night, service excellent , no stuff ups with food what you ordered you received, happy group. 9/10 coz nobody is perfect.. :
