Darbar Indian Restaurant - East Geelong

I’ve love Indian food and I lived in India but I would have to say this is the most disgusting Indian meal I’ve ever eaten! I ordered 3 vegetarian dishes that are supposed to be different sauces all the same disgusting sauces!!!!! And the yellow dhal in the disgusting sauces was raw!!!!!! Just DISGUSTING! Save you money and find another Indian restaurant in Geelong!!!!!

Being a regular customer, I visited this place last Saturday with my husband to share some quality time. All the unprofessional things started as soon as we entered! We entered into restaurant and there was no staff might be went to kitchen to bring food to serve customers already sitting). However there was a lady with 2 kids sitting at front who dint even greet us after entering and ran behind kitchen to call staff! Which was really disgusting at least one should have manners to greet customers)! Staff came running and very positively welcomed us. We sat and ordered food which came on time though restaurant was very busy. Meanwhile, we felt very uncomfortable as the lady and her kids were roaming from kitchen to front in front of us.. We as a customers come to restaurant to spend some good time and to relax by paying our money.. We dont come here to see this unprofessional behaviour. Kid was tamping the floor.. When we went to pay our bill that lady was feeding her small baby which was ridiculous!!! On top of that, restaurant's front counter was so messy with papers, kids stuff! Just some advice to management- Please make sure that restaurant is a place where customer come to relax with loved ones. And when It is busy, one staff cant handle 6-7 tables at a time. Staff was literally running to take order on phones, serving the food, cleaning tables. Great job front waitress and chef for yummy food! Hopefully next time we will enjoy to full extent.

Delicious food excellent service. Staff are friendly helpful. Room in between tables so that you can have a private conversation, but still has atmosphere. Have visited this restaurant numerous times the food is always yummy !

The food is wonderful the atmosphere a little quiet can't understand why these guys are not busier. They are the best kept secret in Geelong
