Spindler's - East End

Big let down . We stayed at the Waterford which is the hotel in the courtyard . We were excited to try the food as it was closer most days and so close by . When we finally were able to , it was a hard fail . The margaritas were plain not good . I can toughen through most bad drinks but this one I just Jeff and switched to something else .The food also was over cooked and not flavorful . We had tacos and the steak.The best thing about this place is that you can take wine to go if you are at the hotel plus the staff I must say is super nice and friendly just the drinks and food need some work .

Ordered tacos and margs. Unfortunately, the rice was salty, steak tacos were only ok, and margarita was too tarty. Really wanted to like it but sadly disappointed. Our waiter was great, tho!

Walked in last night at 6:30pm to catch dinner before a show. Spindler's was on the way and empty. I'd been there 2 years prior with no complaints. But last night the host wouldn't give a table for 2 unless I gave him a cell number. The reason? Because my walk in somehow had to be recorded in the system which required a phone number. So I left.Luckily there are many places along Commercial street that serve great food and with a great attitude. No reason to bother with Spindler's ever again.

Craig is an excellent bartender. We will definitely be back again for dinner and drinks.
