Smokehouse Country Grill - East Ellijay

The pulled pork was absolutely fantastic. It was clear that a lot of care went into smoking it. The biscuits, baked beans, potato salad, coleslaw, and fried okra were all excellent examples of classic home cooking. It’s definitely worth the drive from Chatsworth to visit this place. If you live in Ellijay and haven’t tried this restaurant, you’re truly missing out. The prices were very reasonable, and the desserts were delectable! This is a great restaurant with friendly staff, AMAZING food, and a nice, relaxing, homey atmosphere.

If you haven't visited this place yet, you need to! It's the best BBQ you'll find in North Georgia. The service is outstanding, and the pulled pork is exceptional, especially with their homemade sauce. We plan to return frequently and can't wait to sample the entire menu.

The food here is incredible, starting with the enticing aroma of smoked meat as soon as you walk in, all the way to the delightful homemade Italian cream cake. I'm very particular about my potato salad; I usually only eat my own or my grandmother's. However, when the waitress offered us a sample, I was pleasantly surprised—it was really delicious! We both ordered the pulled pork, which, I should note, was so flavorful that it didn't even need sauce. We also got two sides, but the portions were so generous that we ended up sharing everything. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxing. Be sure to check this place out; you won't regret it!

This place was awesome. Great people, good environment. Food was the best I have ate around Ellijay. I have a family of 6 and we all ate for under $50.00
