Pueblo Mexican - East Ellijay

We lived in Ellijay for four years and never ate in Pueblo, but finally decided to do so today. The portions were very nice, taste was perfect, service was excellent (Gabbie), and the atmosphere was authentic. We will definitely be back and forth. Much better than the overpriced and tasteless Mexican restaurant on the street. Locals and visitors should really experience Pueblo!

I have to be honest: this has always been our favorite spot, Catch. I tell people, "If you want the best Mexican food without the headache of terrible service, this is the place for you!" I truly love this restaurant, despite the common service issues. I usually stick to two dishes, and occasionally I just go for chips and salsa. So, while I’d give the food a 5-star rating, the service is more like 2 stars. If you choose to eat here, I think you’ll enjoy it. I highly recommend it overall!

The vegetarian fajitas were excellent. I opted not to request sour cream or cheese, and my order was just right. The combination of onions, cauliflower, broccoli, mushrooms, and tomatoes was flavorful and satisfying. The service was outstanding.

This is the best chile relleno on this side of the Mississippi River! The service is consistently excellent. As of October 5, 2021, it remains the top place for cheese chile relleno along the Mississippi River! If you're visiting the North Georgia mountains, make sure to check out this hidden gem of a Mexican restaurant. The chips are wonderfully thin and delicious. The food is fantastic and reasonably priced. Be sure to try dish #8 from the lunch menu!
