Van's Frozen Custard - East Dundee

I was hesitant when my husband asked me to drive to this location to pick up lunch for him, claiming it had the "best burger in the suburbs." However, I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it. This place truly is incredible!

The Sundae was fantastic with its perfect balance of sweet and salty flavors! Although the service and price could have been better, the creamy custard more than made up for it. I can't wait to return and sample some of their other delicious Sundaes.

Try this place. The freshest, tastiest burgers anywhere served with daily cut fries. Can't beat it! Upgrade to daily cut sweet potato fries for even more flavor. Then finish off that yumminess with the best custard in IL. Bring your appetite to reallyenjoy the food. Atmosphere is laid back and very family/kid friendly. Try it once and you'll become one of the many regulars.

I had always heard good things about their burgers. When I went in, I noticed that everything on the menu was $3 more (due to new owners), so I ended up paying $11 just for a burger and fries because their meals don't come with a drink. Unfortunately, the burger was undercooked and lacking in flavor, and the fries were very greasy. I requested for no tomato and onion on my burger, but they still included them. I'll definitely not be returning as my experience was disappointing. Additionally, their customer service needs improvement as the girl taking my order seemed confused and kept repeating wrong items. One visit was enough for me.
