We haven’t been here for many months, we won’t be coming back again any time soon. This always used to be one of the best fish and chip shops in the area. Well not anymore!! The chips were **** awful. Black and grotty looking. They didn’t look appetising and certainly didn’t taste appetising. Fantastic fish and chips. A group of us were working at the festival nearby. We rang late and they were able to accommodate us. Beautiful food. Can't wait to eat there again next year. Thank you.

After being exposed to continental chips, fries , friet ect, my love of the majority of british standard chips and chip shops has wained dramaticaly, but Heries chip shop is a cut well above the others and is a joy to return to every now and then. Clean, busy, pleasant staff and good, well cooked food. Supports a good range of food and cold drinks, not greasy barely warm chips.
Well priced and good chips !!! The fish was very well cooked and well sourced
