Ordered a “large cod” and large chips, Pea fritter (actually had some this time, only fish and chip shop I’ve ever known that constantly doesn’t have them in stock, guess they’re not homemade? . All portion sizes are tiny. It’s £9.95 for a “large” cod and no joke it was as thin as a finger and as large as my hand. They have trimmed and cut this down to make it something that in most shops would be considered a small.... View all feedback.

After reading the mixed reviews, I was a bit skeptical about trying this restaurant. However, it exceeded my expectations. Despite being on a tight budget, I opted for the jumbo battered sausage and regular chips and they were delicious. As a new resident in the village, I will have to see if the quality is consistent. The service was quick and friendly, especially from the young girl. I suggest adding battered burgers to the menu. This was a takeout dinner costing between £1-10 per person. I give the food a rating of 4, service a rating of 5, and the atmosphere a rating of 4. I recommend trying the cooked sausage and chips.
