"The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The only downside is that they don't serve alcohol, but you can bring your own without any corkage charge.".
What X1640RYkarenb doesn't like about Ferndown Spice:
Ordered 2 chicken madras (to take away) when we arrived home the rice was undercooked and had a strange sweetness to it, the madras sauce was a cheap purée with a baby food consistency made not with fresh chillies and garlic but powders which were visible. The taste was hot but not pleasant cheaply made and a complete waste of money. Could never recommend View all feedback.
This small family run restaurant is an absolute gem! On arrival, the welcome by Waitors Farhan his brother was warm friendly. Each course was exquisite just bursting with flavours that I hadn 't experienced before! Having eaten in many Indian Restaurants across the UK, this certainly isn 't a bog standard Curry House! The service was excellent we were left a perfect time in between each course. It was also fantastic value for money. We went for the Banquet meal which was 5 courses for under £20. You couldn 't ask for a better deal in this current climate. We are delighted we 've found this lovely restaurant will be frequenting it on a regular basis.
The food yet again was amazing. Along with fast and efficient service. The food is great value for money and I will definitely keep coming back!

We needed a meal on a journey and chose Joy from Google Maps and were very impressed The food was good , portions large and they had an ‘old favourites’ section with a number of dishes I’ve not seen for a while great to try Chicken Malaya again Service was really impressive and the banter between the staff created a vibrant atmosphere so often missing in ‘quiet’ restaurants. Without them in the background this would have been a bit oppressively boring So, a bit of a shame this restaurant isn’t local to us, but very grateful to Google Maps for the experience
Food is constantly good and resalable value, delivery's are good. Unless you use Just Eat, best always go direct.
