We found Toast quite by accident, needing to stop off for a bit of lunch on our way home to Cornwall. And what a find it was. Very friendly staff, a pleasant atmosphere and the fact that we had the last table available showed how...popular it is. The food was superb; ham, egg and chips with ham that was cut delightfully thick and a generous helping of chips, and a brie and caramelised onion quiche with an enormous side salad. The prices were very reasonable, and I've paid more for service station sandwiches and coffee. Though Honiton is not on our usual route when travelling, Toast could well make it become so.
Such a lovely friendly cafe. Had lovely breakfast and coffee this morning, cakes looked amazing will return snd try them next time. Really lovely atmosphere and so nice to see happy helpful staff!! Thank you

Thursday morning for brunch. Busy and humming. Smiling staff. Excellent very hot coffee (so rare) and delicious brunch. Well done to you all. An excellent example of a really good independant cafe supported by the local community.
Lovely little cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating, good choice of food including daily specials, well worth a visit!
