We ordered the chattery standard and xl breakfast plates and they were absolutely delicious! This breakfast will definitely be remembered, as it was flavorful and made with locally sourced ingredients. The vegetarian options on the menu were plentiful and there were also gluten-free options available. The café is wheelchair accessible, but unfortunately there are no facilities for wheelchair users. The service was great and we dined in with no issues.
The food at this restaurant is good, but the customer service is terrible. I used to be a regular customer, but I will not be returning. It seems like the owner does not allow for feedback. There were no signs indicating no smoking where I was sitting, and I would like clarification on what is considered abusive behavior as I have always been polite. I requested a refund for my coffee, which was denied, so I took it to go. Unfortunately, I tripped on my flip flop as I was leaving and spilled the coffee outside the restaurant. Please do not paint me as the villain in this situation.
I recently stopped by for a takeaway latte at this restaurant. The staff was pleasant and friendly, and the coffee was good. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a 4 out of 5.
Lovely staff and delicious food, I don't normally enjoy veggie sausages but these were lovely! Great milkshakes too! I'd definitely recommend Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Very disappointed after reading some good reviews- mainly by the way polite concerns were recieved and responded to- I always try to resolve issues in person before reviewing publicly. Served warm 7up. Asked for ice. It was added with bare hands by staff (who had been taking cash and picking up dirty dishes) and it foamed up and over spilling lots of drink. The waitress said she hadn't spilled that much (I saw it myself and the level was far lower even with ice added). It spilled out, across the work surface and onto the floor. Asked for the wasted drink to be replaced- they said I could pay for another. The 7 up was then flat due to the amount of fizzing up caused by the way the ice was added. There was an incredibly unpleasant strong smell of dog- maybe just the individual dog sat across on the other side of the cafe. Very long wait for paninis to be made despite a number of empty tables so hardly full capacity. Average food- generous portions but very much spoiled by the warm, flat drink, unpleasant interactions, hygiene concerns around staff hands and bad smell. There are lots and lots of other far nicer places a stones throw away. Over priced compared to the cafes in London and Bath with higher standards.
