Subway - East Devon

I Appreciate it had been busy as bank holiday however. No bread choice No cookies tuna turkey meetballs coleslaw olives pickles onions sweetcorn mayo bottled drinks . Lids for cups sugar napkins I could go on .staff arguing as only 2 on .Not their fault. Charged 10p for A cup holder. My pepper tomato cucumber were cut an inch thick couldnt eat it ..All this for £20 I suggest they get more staff and A new manager who knows how to order.I work in catering and this is unexpectable. If this is your franchise I would be embarrassed.

Dirty shop, dirty floors, dirty walk way, no stock out, empty drinks fridge. Flys around the food. No clean tables to sit at and slow paced staff who clearly heated each other.

This was not our first visit to this Subway, yet we thought things may have improved. They haven't, the seating area is looking very dated, worn tables, old paintwork but worse than that the whole dining area is dirty. Under the counter along the floor a build up of bits and grime, under the drinks fridge the same. There was dirt and black mould spots inside the bottom of the drinks fridge. This is just general cleanliness and I assume should be on some hourly/daily cleaning rota, which is not being adhered to. This is not a busy subway and there is no reason for standards to be so poor. Please Subway if you are reading this, let's get this sorted out. Please note this review is just for the Exmouth Subway store, I know that not every Subway is as poorly cared for as this.

Service was without a smile and when we took our food to find a table they were all dirty. I ordered the pizza sub and it was really unappetising. I didn't think the food was good value at all. The final nail in the coffin was when I visited the toilet afterwards, it was gross and dirty, it didn't look like it had a good clean in years, stained loo and large black rings round the taps. I always feel that the state of the loos reflects the hygiene of the premises, and so wished I hadn't eaten there at all.

My partner was working in the area so we came to subway as it 's our favourite, We ordered our food and went to sit down and it wasn 't overly busy and the tables were all dirty and we had to clean off our own table, We then sat down with our 2 year old daughter and began eating our lunch when a bin lorry turns up and the bin men come in and start bringing the commercial waste bins through the food counter and out of the shop, they brang out about 4 bins and right past our table where we were sat eating our dinner. I am very discusted in how un-hygenic this was. A lady at the counter ordering asked ' Do they Normally bring the bins through like this? It 's very un-hygenic To which a male staff member just shrugged it off. Subway is normally our favourite for lunch with our daughter and we normally go in our home town but we were very unsatisfied with the hygiene.
