We enjoyed the food we chose at this restaurant. The Gujarati lamb mince was delicious, but the Kerala chicken lacked the expected flavor of coconut milk. The rice was unseasoned, while the onion bhajis were very good. The veg samosas were also unseasoned. The coriander sauce was delicious and the bread was good but nothing special. The service was excellent and everything was well-packaged. Overall, it was great value for money as the portions were large enough for two meals for two people.
I ordered a BBQ takeaway box today. The service was fantastic and the presentation and packaging were well done. The food was good, but it didn't exceed our expectations. The box contained 4 chicken breast strips, 2 small lamb burgers, 2 pork kebabs, a couple of dips, and some Bombay Mix. It cost £25, which we found to be very expensive for the small amount of food that was just average. We're happy to support a local independent business and see them doing well. Overall, I would rate it a 3.5. 5 for service, 2 for value, and 3 for quality. It's just not great value for the price.
I just finished enjoying our delicious takeout delivery. We ordered a chicken curry, a lamb curry with rice, onion bhajis, samosas, and a side dish of spicy lamb ribs. The curries had unique flavors unlike the typical mass-produced takeout curries. The samosas and onion bhajis were crispy and delicious, and the lamb ribs were amazing (I could have eaten a plateful on their own). If you're looking for a curry that's different from the usual, this is the place for you. Tony
