I did enjoy the scallop appetizer despite having to scrape off all the salt. The chef was supposed to explain what was on the plate but was taking too long with other customers. For me it was disappointing as I had heard rave reviews.

The fact that there is no menu is fantastic because the dishes they serve are truly exceptional. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed delicious, flavorful food. Whil... read more My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at the Rusty Pig. We opted for the 6-course tasting menu and were delighted by every single dish. While we may not have chosen some of the dishes from a traditional menu, that's the beauty of a tasting menu! We discovered some new favorite dishes and would highly recommend trying it out for anyone unsure about the surprise element. None of the courses were too outlandish, and the chef was accommodating of allergies and dietary preferences. The atmosphere was cozy, intimate, and relaxed, and we had a great conversation with Robin and the rest of the friendly staff at the end of the evening.

Could sound a little scary b... read more We enjoyed the tasting menu, each dish is a surprise on the night and only at the end of the meal will you learn what you consumed. Could sound a little scary but as a fussy eater previously trust me you are in great hands. We dined as a table of 4 in a room upstairs with other guests and the food is served to everyone at the same time. The head chef joins the room at the end to explain the food. I especially appreciated his passion for local ingredients and utilising foods for minimal wastage. A real fantastic evening. Also the cocktails were top notch. Thank you!
