I was here a few nights. the staff is very friendly and will go beyond and beyond. breakfast, lunch and dinner were exceptional. chef went beyond and beyond and... read more I was here a few nights. the staff is very friendly and will go beyond and beyond. breakfast, lunch and dinner were exceptional. chef went beyond and beyond and also served my puppies with a delicious meal, so she was not let out. 10/10 would recommend that someone come for a weekend trip.

We ate here three times in the evening and once at the breakfast and each meal was really excellent. the filet steak was really one of the best I ever had! the... read more We ate here three times in the evening and once at the breakfast and each meal was really excellent. the filet steak was really one of the best I ever had! the menu is relatiw small, but there are some great dishes to explore. to top...it's all they hand-pulloved ale (one of three sorts otters when we stayed this week). we booked and were glad that if they stay in a lodge, they can't have a table in the night.

The... read more We stayed in stable 3, which has a stable door that allows for plenty of fresh air and light. The window also opened wide, which was nice during the night. The emergency light above the door was extremely bright green and lit up most of the room throughout the night. The bathroom was spacious, but the water pressure in the shower was very low and the curtain in front of the large window was quite see-through, although it overlooked greenery with limited to no access (I believe and hope). The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the complimentary bottle of water and the coffee-making facilities. The breakfast options of freshly cooked food were good, but there was very limited variety available otherwise during breakfast; there was no fresh fruit or yogurt, only cereal and milk, plus apple or orange juice. Breakfast was included in our stay, but I would not have paid the £15 that is charged if it weren't included.
