All in all, very good. the environment in the orangery was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. jerrod, the chef was very courteous for my friend whose do... read more All in all, very good. the environment in the orangery was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. jerrod, the chef was very courteous for my friend whose dog managed to bag a little more meat (which was too good for a...dog of my opinion). he was also unapoologetic for his cauliflower and broccoli cheese, which he described as revealing enthusiastically. I couldn't resist at all. I will certainly return because it is worth the trip from london.

The accommodations are well-maintained and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The lakeside walks are beautiful and the restaurant serves delicious food.

The... read more We stayed in stable 3, which has a stable door that allows for plenty of fresh air and light. The window also opened wide, which was nice during the night. The emergency light above the door was extremely bright green and lit up most of the room throughout the night. The bathroom was spacious, but the water pressure in the shower was very low and the curtain in front of the large window was quite see-through, although it overlooked greenery with limited to no access (I believe and hope). The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the complimentary bottle of water and the coffee-making facilities. The breakfast options of freshly cooked food were good, but there was very limited variety available otherwise during breakfast; there was no fresh fruit or yogurt, only cereal and milk, plus apple or orange juice. Breakfast was included in our stay, but I would not have paid the £15 that is charged if it weren't included.
