We asked him... read more We booked this place through Airbnb and the day before checking in, Craig the host emailed to say he could not longer host us as he double booked. We asked him to contact us and he did not have the decency to do this nor to give us a refund, meaning hours on the phone with airbnb to finally get out money back. Judging by other reviews, best thing you can do is to avoid the place. Cheers Craig, you ruined our weekend in Devon! Rooms: 1

One of the best perks is that it's dog-friendly; our two hounds quickly settled into the lovely, relaxed atmosphere. As for the food and drinks, the breakfast was definitely worth the extra cost—my kids were well-fed and even fell asleep on the way home. Overall, I would rate the rooms a 4, service a 5, and location a 4. A highlight of the hotel is its peaceful environment.
