The best Sunday roast I have ever had came with two meat joints with all trimming couldn’t fault it can’t wait to go again in the week to try the rest of the menu. Amazing a must if you like food
Second visit and another great meal. Clever menu with some dishes I have not seen anywhere else. Food is terrific and portions are huge!!!! Restaurant is a little bit out of the way but make an effort to drive out here,you wont be disapointed.
Arrived for lunch but there was no one to be seen. Eventually, we had someone take our order, the food didn't take too long but once finished we waited what seemed forever for someone to appear so we could get the bill. Another person then gave us our bill then disappeared. Almost felt we were in someone's house and they'd gone out. Strange setup and very awkward. The food was nice but the venue wasn't welcoming.
Went to the butchers block for the first time for lunch today with my wife. It was lovely! Amazing atmosphere and where the restaurant is located is beautiful. Terrific service and the food was devious. Lot's of a variety lunch time menu and there specials! Can't wait to go back soon. Also there is out door seating area so can't wait till the summer! Would recommend the burger or the toasted club chicken sandwich! YUM
Had a fab meal with my husband, daughter and partner. Had a free cocktail on arrival, great main courses and a free sharing pudding. Brilliant food, great service and a fantastic selection of gins
