It is quite shocking and suggests that the kitchen is not very clean. A rating of 2 out of 5 is definitely cause for concern.

It took 50 minutes from the ti... read more I haven't been to this restaurant in a while due to a disappointing breakfast experience, and unfortunately, lunch was no better. It took 50 minutes from the time we sat down to actually receive our food, which was just a sandwich and a panini. The service was incredibly slow, to the point where we almost considered leaving. When the panini finally arrived, it was a squished piece of crunchy French bread, not what we expected. When we asked about it, the response was a shrug and a dismissive "that's how we serve paninis." It was disappointing.

We were in need of a coffee and some breakfast, and this place exceeded our expectations. The full English breakfast was delightful - just the right portion size, reasonably priced, and served promptly. The coffee was also excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed with a smile on their faces. They were happy to accommodate a substitution on the breakfast, which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend this place and we will definitely be returning when we are in Exmouth again.
