Was mekydro at Docks Cafe a mag?
This cafe was recommended to us when I asked who did the best cup of tea in Exmouth Marina. The waitress was friendly and the drinks were good quality. We would happily call in here again when in the area. View all feedback.
What M S H 68 dislikes about Docks Cafe:
the cafe was nearly deserted when we came for a breakfast with only a few people seated so we walked to the counter to look at the menu above and order. the chap behind didn't offer a welcome at all and was visibly impatient despite the place being so quiet so we ordered breakfast and hot drinks then sat down. when the first meal arrived the same little chap slammed it down without a word then returned with the rest... I have visited the Docks Cafe a couple of times recently, both times I had a breakfast. I was impressed with the quality of the breakfast items, and the service from the staff. I highly recommend this cafe to locals and any visitors in the area, I will visit here again.
Nipped in for a quick coffee. Ended up with a tuna melt. Lovely. Tidy place. Quick service. Salad needed a further rinse (it had been rinsed staff assured me, but lettuce was gritty). Everything fresh. VERY generous breakfasts being served. and the fisherman eating his sausage and runny egg sandwich had duck egg. Excellent value. Great coffee.
Every time I come to Exmouth I always make sure I come here for breakfast. Staff are nice and it’s very reasonably priced. Never had a bad breakfast. Also it’s dog friendly which is good
Been here three times and each time it's been good food served fresh and in good time. It does say cash only, however, the staff will tell you if you ask about this, that for large bills they accept cards. We struggled to get 20 quid together for all our breakfasts and when I told the staff we were struggling, we were told not to worry.

This is always a fantastic spot to visit, especially on a chilly or rainy day. The food is made to order, fresh, and served piping hot. The bubble and squeak is incredible! Plus, they have large mugs.
The best breakfast in Exmouth! Be patient, as the food is prepared fresh to order, but it's definitely worth the wait.
Wonderful people, very popular with locals, all food cooked fresh. Because the food is cooked freshly there can be a delay. If you want your breakfast...
This place is absolutely fantastic! If you're looking for a hearty meal, you definitely need to check it out.

I am writing this review after dining at the Mariner's Cafe, which I believe is part of the same business. We visited on a busy bank holiday weekend and were greeted by a friendly server who was knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful suggestions. We were prepared to wait a bit for our food since it was cooked fresh to order. We ordered fish and chips, a fish finger sandwich, and ham, egg, and chips. All of our meals were piping hot and delicious, especially the homemade tartare sauce. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable, so we didn't feel like we were overcharged. I also appreciated that all the drinks and their glasses were kept in the fridge, ensuring nice cold glasses for our beverages. We will definitely be visiting again.
Absolutely fantastic breakfast I had the large docker's and everything was lovely and hot great produce. Nice mug of tea customer service excellent all in all the best breakfast house in exmouth maybe East Devon. Can't wait to return
The restaurant offers an excellent breakfast option for families with good portion sizes. The vegetarian breakfast is especially delicious and reasonably priced.
We stopped at this restaurant for a couple of bacon rolls while waiting for a boat trip. There are long benches outside and plenty of seating inside with an open frontage. It's apparent that this place is popular with locals, workers, and tourists alike. While the full English breakfasts coming out looked great, we opted for a snack instead. The bacon rolls were large, the tea was decent, and they had bottles of sauces on the tables instead of sachets. The service was very friendly and grateful for our visit. We would definitely visit again.
