The Bayleaf cafe in Exmouth offers a mix of experiences according to recent reviews. Some guests have reported disappointing dishes, including dry baked potatoes and small, underfilled wraps. Others have praised the friendly staff, delicious breakfast options, and amazing milkshakes. A particular highlight seems to be the American pancakes with perfectly cooked eggs and crispy bacon. The cafe also offers cocktail-making classes, which have been highly recommended for groups looking for a fun and unique experience. Overall, the Bayleaf Cafe offers a variety of options, with some hits and misses, making it worth a visit for a range of tastes and preferences.

Today, my working cocker spaniel and I enjoyed a pleasant half hour sitting outside in the dappled sunshine. We listened to a busker playing popular and relaxing music while I sipped on a delicious latte and enjoyed a scrumptious bacon bap.

I searched online for a dog-friendly cafe where I could have Sunday morning breakfast. After seeing the great reviews, I decided to give it a try. And I'm glad I did! We received a warm welcome at the outdoor patio and were seated at a table perfect for our dog, sheltered from the sun. The menu had a variety of options, including vegan choices. We ordered a small breakfast and a 3 oz steak breakfast, both of which were delicious and freshly made. The staff were all attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant and bar, and I will definitely be returning next summer.

I stopped by the other day for breakfast and I must say, it was fantastic! The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. The coffee was also really good. I will definitely be returning and would recommend it to anyone in search of great food and drinks.

Spent 20 minutes after ordering only to be told fryers needed warming up because they had been busy. Offered casserole which looked and tasted like soup. Aggressive manager who insisted they were in the right. Obtained partial refund

Visited this cafe this week. Was greeted at the door before entering. Customer service was very good and a good selection of cakes and drinks. Rated 3 stars as the music was very loud and bassy for a cafe at that time of day (1pm) on a weekday. Also the cake was a bit dry.
