A35 Pit Stop - East Devon
A35 Pit Stop
Description
Nestled conveniently on the route to coastal destinations, this eatery offers a varied experience that leaves diners with mixed impressions. Some visitors appreciate the unexpectedly delightful breakfast and lunch options, praising the fresh ingredients and attentive service. However, others have encountered issues like unfriendly staff, poor hygiene, and a dated interior. Despite its potential, complaints about overpriced dishes and inconsistent service dampen the appeal. While there are glimmers of quality meals and pleasant interactions, inconsistent experiences suggest the establishment could benefit from improved management and a fresh perspective to truly shine.

We used to stop at this restaurant on our way to Cornwall every year, but it is no longer the charming café with a delicious menu. It is now a Greggs. It is disappointing and I don't think I will be coming back.
We stopped at this restaurant on Monday, March 27th on our way back from Cornwall. We ordered bacon sandwiches and hot drinks, and they were excellent! The prices were good and the quality was top-notch. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
The restaurant was very welcoming when we arrived. The breakfast and coffee were fantastic! The staff, including the manager, were all lovely. Thank you.
Why shut a roadside cafe at 2pm in the afternoon, don't they think people want to eat later when traveling
