This is our 5th time staying here and as usual we had a lovely room and great food at breakfast and in the evening. Our only problem over the last 2 visits is that residents are made to feel less important than people in for a private function. Some in-house training to staff on how to handle these issues would make such a difference. Rooms: 5 View all feedback.

As residents of the island, we've enjoyed several visits in the past, including the New Year's Eve ball, afternoon tea, and an overnight stay with dinner and breakfast. Those experiences were always top-notch, but this time was unfortunately very different. I lived on the Isle of Wight until I was 19 and come back to see parents for past 30 years and this was my first trip to Albert cottage. We went for lunch and what a gem. 100% recommended. Very classy, great roast. Recommended as a really nice place to eat. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
