Louisiana Lagniappe has never disappointed. The marinated crab claws that we had as an appetizer were very good. The broccoli and cheddar with crab soup was another one of the tasty soups that Lagniappe’s offers from time to time. Of course, if you have not had their seafood stuffed peppers then you are missing out. There is no skimping on the seafood. Every fish dish is mouth watering. The service is on point and th... What Charles Williams doesn't like about Louisiana Lagniappe:
Went here last night with my family, had the marinated crab claw appetizer, the waiter said it was cold and I was ok with that, it was just different than I expected, it was more like a seafood salad type presentation, not a traditional crab claw appetizer, it was ok I guess. We also had the stuffed mushrooms and they were excellent. For entrees, 3 of us ordered the fresh fish en papillote, all 3 of us were very disa... View all feedback.
They restaurant was crowded. However, the service was prompt, and our server was simply the best. The food was excellent and hot. Will certainly become one of my favorite restaurants. I highly recommend it. ?
Not very welcoming to people of color. At the time I was 5 months pregnant and I literally cried the rest of the evening. My husband and my mom also felt the same uncomfortableness. Truly disappointed.
The sofcshell crawfish topping was a little odd for me, but I am glad I tried it.
Booked for business dinner with 14 participants. The staff made sure everyone was properly taken care of.The oysters, bisque gumbo, and all seafood dishes were ridiculously good. Nobody complained about their food and all of us will return. This place receives my highest recommendation. I will make sure to visit every time I go to Baton Rouge.

We also had the stuffed mushrooms and they were excellent. For entrees, 3 of us ordered the fresh fish en papillote, all 3 of us were very disappointed in this entree, I do not recommend, it honestly tasted like a frozen meal that was heated up and served in parchment paper, the fish was not good and lacked flavor, very dry, and the twice baked potato was a joke. The other entree we ordered was a shrimp pasta special and it was good. Overall the price does not reflect the food that is coming out of the kitchen.
