Our visit to this restaurant was disappointing. They are currently undergoing construction and will be closing soon. The bread was warm and delicious, but the meatball could have been hotter. What OpenTable Diner doesn't like about Vito e Vino:
The pear gorgonzola salads were swimming in dressing with few pears. My squash ravioli had a small amount of filling and I could not taste any sage in the sauce. In addition, there were NO VEGETABLES served with any of the entrees. Unheard of! The other couple called it average at best. Party of 4 for my Sister-in-law's birthday, we had 4 excellent dinners desert and wine. Very nice.
The food was wonderful as always. The server was absolutely excellent even though she was very busy on a Friday evening. We definitely consider Vito Vino one of our very favorite restaurants!
We made on line reservations; we were sat at a table near the bar. We asked to be moved to a quiet location so we could chat with our friends and the host put us outside, right behind the band. He clearly didn't care. The band started playing in the middle of our dinner (far too early in my opinion) and it was way to loud for a dinner party. Our table wasn't set when we sat down and no one came over to set it up until we asked our server to do it. You really need table runners who can do the dirty work while your servers to do their job. The server was great, he was friendly and did his best to accommodate, but he was very busy. It will be a long while before we try this restaurant again. Honestly, you have to decide whether you want to be a restaurant or a bar. Loud music at 7:30pm during the dinner hour is ludicrous. Later in the evening, yes, but not during dinner.
Seated quickly and very friendly greeting. Ordered an appetizer and entrees along with wood fired pizzas for the kids. Everything was superb and service was fast and friendly. Nathan, our server, brought refills on drinks without being asked to. Overall excellent dinner and experience! Will recommend to friends.
This restaurant is known for its fresh seafood. The staff is consistently professional, friendly, and efficient. The outdoor patio is one of the best in the area. The food was excellent and overall, the experience was truly wonderful.
