I rung and... read more The food was amazing, apart from last time we visited we got told that if we informed them ahead that there would be more Vegan options for my party. I rung and booked 8 days in advance and when we turned up had one vegan option for a starter and main, which was the same when we didn't inform. The people serving the food was also great, yet the main front of house lacked the welcome touch. We was a large party and wanted an itemise bill, after requesting one, we got quite a bit of attitude and they really need a system that would give them that level of detail, so the party can split the bill correctly. I live down the road from the restaurant and always used this place as a treat and for special meals, not any longer, front of house needs work from an ownership and managerial level

While we understand that mistakes can happen, we found the management's response to be lacking and unprofessional. This was the worst service experience we have had in a long time. We hope that the management at Ashfield's takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements to their service standards. Based on our experience, we will not be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant.

We enjoyed a delicious three-course meal, with each dish being exceptional in both taste and presentation. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to come back soon!
