read moreThe Red Lion received mixed reviews for their service and atmosphere. Some patrons complained of unhelpful staff and expensive drinks, while others praised the authentic pub vibe and delicious food, particularly the pizza. The beer garden was highlighted as a peaceful escape, but complaints of loud music and unpleasant smells near the toilets were also noted. Overall, experiences ranged from disappointing to fantastic, with some recommending it for the choice of beers and friendly staff. The Sunday roast was praised for being tasty, while Covid protocols and payment methods were mentioned. Despite some shortcomings, the Red Lion offers a traditional British pub experience worth trying.
