The food was delicious and all of the curries we had was not sitting in oil like you get in some british indian restaurants. The chef's made sure their base curry was cooked to above average perfection which then gave a flavoursome dish.Special thanks to Head Waiter Franco and the Manager Anil who catered to every request and needs for me and my family. The waiting staff were all so polite, friendly and with a sense... View all feedback.
What DayTrip54394140581 doesn't like about Madhus:
The food at Madhus Southall was very average and did not live up to the hype. I had visited the restaurant about 8 years ago and had a great experience. However, when I went back in October 2023 for my wife and I's anniversary, we were very disappointed. The tandoori mixed grill was not sizzling as it should be, but instead was lukewarm at best. We were unimpressed and felt that the restaurant no longer had the class... View all feedback.
Good food and nice ambience. The only thing that put us off was our server, Umer. Very unfriendly behavior and unexpected animosity among the servers was quite surprising. I got a friend to travel all the way from Liverpool street, solely based on the hype of Mahus Southall. We specifically asked Umer to box all the items on the table for takeaway. However, we only got the chicken. If the service improves, this could genuinely be one of the best Indian restaurants in London.
The food is outstanding, the service is excellent, and the portions are generous. This restaurant is a must-visit, don't miss out!
Really clean and great food. Great staff . Really polite and respectful. Service was fast and efficient
What a fantastic place, went there for a family get together and my mother’s birthday. As soon as we walked in, the staff offered to take our jackets, got our chairs for us and were immensely professional. I highly recommend the Seekh kebab, Makhani daal and Bhindi. Absolutely amazing. We were served by Franco who was polite and professional. Staff repeatedly made sure we liked our food. Wouldn’t particularly recommend the butter chicken on the bone though as I wasn’t a fan of the flavour. Want to try the lamb chops next.
We dropped into Madhu's in Southall after an airport drop and managed to find parking on this very busy high street next to Iceland. It was almost 2pm and that's perhaps why we were quite easily able to get a table as a walk in. They have a lovely selection of items on the menu but the chicken curry was absolutely excellent delightful flavours not at all overpowering and not too creamy nor too spicy just right. The laacha paratha that we ordered with it was excellent too. The jeera chicken, on the other hand, was a little dry and tough while the mogo dish that we ordered was a little too spicy with too much gravy that drowned the flavour of the mogo. Having said all that the service was very good and the prices are very reasonable. I note that the Madhu's chain has gone quite upmarket with some of its newer branches although I suspect that prices at its fancier sites are pretty fancy too so if you want to enjoy their food at very competitive prices then this is the place to come.
