I had never tried the crispy duck from this restaurant before. A quarter of a duck was enough for 3 people, even though you only get 6 pancakes. The duck was juicy and very flavorful. I also decided to try the beancurd for a change, and it was actually very enjoyable. View all feedback.
What robt391 doesn't like about Golden Dragon:
Got take away here for the first time in ages recently and although food appeared tasty I was ill for the next 24 hours and can only put it down to this place. Places that have poor ratings should put things right and request a new assessment. If they don't you have to draw your own conclusions. I will not be going back until I see a better rating. Fantastic food yet again, everything was excellent, deep fried shredded beef, chicken black bean, salt and pepper prawns, egg fried rice and mini spring rolls. It just gets better and better. So hot, fresh, well seasoned and absolute delight. Highly recommended.
Food ordered by phone, picked up by foot, obviously a busy Saturday night, everything fresh, hot, and very tasty. Spot on timing for pick up. You've come up in the world, Golden Dragon! Thank you for a truly delicious meal.
This was our first delivery from this restaurant since lockdown, and the food was fantastic. We ordered shredded beef, chicken in black bean sauce, mini spring rolls, salt and pepper prawns, and egg fried rice. The total cost was around £20, and the delivery arrived in just 15 minutes. We will definitely be ordering from here again.
Walked in waited to order. Called for someone. Shop empty. Asked if them had lunch menu. Some do like a half and half. Got told no. The man walks away again. Wtf. I waited few minutes the left.
We decided in a takeaway from this place that we have used very rarely. The menu is huge with all the usual favourites. We started with a quarter of duck and pancakes and followed it with spicy crispy beef, chicken with cashew nuts and two portions of egg fried rice which were so generous that we could only eat one. The quality was high and there was a good amount of meat. The duck was juicy and tender and was plenty for two people although you only get 6 pancakes. Most main courses appear to cost £4.80 which is great value. They were busy but I only had to wait 10 minutes for my order.
