We are regular patrons of the café in acton Park and are delighted that it has changed hands. We used to go there with our grandchildren and enjoyed the experience. However it has now been taken over by new managers and is known as Birdies...Kitchen The food is much better but it is still a great place to go with young children. The place is full of little children with their carers and the food is pitched to this market. We had good croissants and coffee. My grandchildren were very satisfied with lollies and gingerbread men.
Went to this cafe yesterday with the family. It was raining quite heavily so decided to have a coffee till it stopped. I ordered four Lattes waited min to be given two of them and receive nothing after that. I asked where the other...two were and an unpleasant lady told me they were made but she gave them to another customs who had come in after me and that they were being made as we spoke. So waiting another mins. Then as we were given them she very rudely asked us to leave as she had a party to organize. I mentioned that it would have been nice for her to have told us this as we ordered the coffees to which she said there was a note on the door that had flew away and that it wasn't her fault. I found her to be extremely short and rude with no apology whatsoever. But she gladly took my money. I will not be going back there!
This jolly pizza place and cafe/bar (with optional crazy golf) has become a bit of a hub for Acton life as it has copious outdoor space and lovely staff. The coffee is good and get there early so are the croissants. I’m not a pizza...fan but those who are say these are ace. There are huge umbrellas so the cautious who don’t want to be inside, can go in all weathers. Plus the team is really lovely to my mum who goes there nearly daily. So that’s a major plus. Assiduous cleaning after use and of all spaces makes it feel unusually safe from Covid.
Met with my friends on several occasion for coffee , pizza& ice cream, lovely outdoor facilities, great ice coffee& pizza are nice with thin crust. Non dairy friend was impressed with the non dairy ice cream!!
I have visited this cafe many times in the past few months for coffee and also pizza. Very friendly, helpful staff and good service. Pizzas are carefully cooked, excellent quality and are delicious. Babies and children are very welcome here and also dogs. The cafe...is quite simply a real gem.
