I have previously loved bringing my young daughters to this bookshop because its more than a bookshop, its a feast for the eyes and a very intimate setting. However, this evening I was genuinely disturbed by the amount of fake baby heads with blood and wounds painted on them on display. Quality quaint bookshop. I took my goddaughter 16) and son 5) here to kill some time together. They were entertained and enthralled for almost two hours. They have rolling book shelf ladders that are my dream and indoor wish fountain that immediately captured my child's attention. My son also found an amazing children's book on bioluminescence in nature that we love. My God daughter found books and knick knacks and was given more recommendations by the shop keeper. And I left with a whole laundry list of gift ideas and Santa requests for both of them and myself). 10/10 great independent book shop.
When I lived in Chester Springs, I'd frequent this place all of the time. The staff is friendly and always willing to provide recommendations. The store is beautifully designed and inviting. One of the best bookstores in Chester County, no doubt.
Adorable and cozy book store. This lovely place captivated your eyes from the moment you set eyes on it. On the outside there are wonderful statues. Once you enter you will see a beautiful fountain and you get immediately greeted. As you walk through the store you will see a great variety of books for all ages and different decorations of all types that make you keep looking. The lady that manages the store I’m so sorry I forgot her name) is super sweet and helpful. Definitely recommend stopping by and supporting this store. By far this has been one of my favorite book stores in the nation, not only because it is super cute but because of the great customer service provided. While you’re there feel free to grab a coffee and some pastries!
This is my definition of the perfect bookstore. The esthetic of the store, the selection of books, the helpful staff.
My toddler loves coming to this bookstore! Toys books muffins??? She loves it lol. I also enjoy it, it’s so cozy, nice staff, a little cafe, and a decent selection of books! Online you can search their inventory too if you need to research or read reviews beforehand like me.
